Audax is a solid cleaning compound delivered in a premixed and ready-to-use granule form. It is specifically formulated for cleaning screws, barrels, hot runners, extrusion heads and dies from colorants residues, burned material and other contaminations resulting from material change, color change, machine shut down.
Audax performs by means of mechanical forces released from high viscosity polymers, scrubbing minerals and blowing agents. The blowing agents increase the pressure inside the barrel and allow the high viscosity polymers and the scrubbing minerals to reach the dead spots inside the barrel, nozzle, hot runner and extrusion head releasing all residual polymer pigments and other contaminants.
